Vintage Paragon set of 2 fine bone china tea cups and saucers. The cups are marked "L" and "J" and both belong to the "Flower Festival" series.
The backstamp dates these beautiful pieces between 1963-1972, after that Paragon became part of the Royal Doulton Group.
The Paragon Flower Festival tea cups are trimmed in gold on the base, rim and angel wing handle, the saucer is trimmed on the edge.
The "J" tea cup features lovely pink, white and blue anemone with green leaves on a bright white background.
The "L" cup features pretty pink roses on a white background as well.
Excellent condition: no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. One of the cups has a drip of gold on it's rim, which apparently happened during the manufacturing process (see pictures).
The cups stand about 3" high and measure about 3.5" across the rim. The saucers measure about 5.5" across the rim.
