Rare! Vintage Hand Enameled Oval Vegetable Bowl "Louise" by Tuscan, England, c.1940's-1950's

Very rare vintage Hand Enameled Oval Vegetable Bowl "Louise" by Tuscan, Made in England in the 1940's-1950's. This exquisite bowl is decorated with enamel turquoise flowers and intricate gold leaf pattern. The details and finish is, in my opinion, second to none. Tuscan tableware was founded in 1878 Staffordshire, England by R. H. Plant. Staffordshire records show that the Plant family were potters of renown going back at least as far as 1775. On the factory building were the words: "Our Work ... Our Pride". Their branded bone-china was known as "Tuscan" until 1966, after which they were taken over by new parent company, Wedgwood who added the ‘Royal’ prefix for marketing purposes. While this beautiful bowl is considered used, the condition is superb. There are no chips, cracks, rubbings, or hairlines. There is no wear on the gold (see pictures).
